Sweet-natured, soft, and fond of his kittens — about as unlike the Stag King as a child could be, which nobody thought to find suspicious because Robert paid his children so little attention. He was too young to understand the fiction he was standing in the middle of.
He would be handed a crown he never wanted by a family that wanted it very much on his behalf, and he was entirely unequipped to survive them. Of all the consequences of Robert's marriage, Tommen is the least deserved.
