Selyse Florent

Selyse of House Florent married Stannis Baratheon and gave him one child and very little warmth. Their union was cold in a way that even Robert's disastrous marriage was not: Robert and Cersei at least loathed each other with feeling, while Stannis and Selyse seem barely to have troubled one another at all.

She was proud of her Florent blood, which she reckoned better than most, and her most famous humiliation came at her own wedding, when Robert took a Florent kinswoman to bed in the marriage chamber and got Edric Storm out of it. It is one of the ugliest things recorded about the Stag King, and it was Selyse who wore it.
